Amy Shelton-President
Since 1999 as founding partner of DesignSense Incorporated, Amy has structured DSI to achieve its commitment to excellence in service and renewing its knowledge base. On a iterative basis, Amy monitors and assures the performance of our firm’s Vision and Mission to our clients, our associates, our colleagues, and our community.
Through proven business practices, her leadership in goal setting, business management, business development, and human resource development has made DesignSense today’s leader in Integrate Project Acquisition Services.
David Shelton-Senior Vice President
As a founding partner of DesignSense Incorporated, David has focused on client services and research on Design-Build & Integrated Project Delivery methods, strategies, and Acquisition Management.
David is a licensed builder and architect, and has served the industry for more than 30 years. As author of the 3PQ© Management System, David has mastered the core principles of Design-Build and Integrated Project Delivery. Today David provides executive project leadership, primarily through Project Team education and project facilitation. David continues to improve DSI’s “model acquisition processes”, while remaining active in ever project DSI delivers.
Mark Mitts-Senior
Vice President
Mark has serviced clients of DesignSense since joining the firm in 2002. With more than 20 years of construction industry service, Mark holds the knowledge our customers seek in delivering project success.
Mark has practiced on both sides of the design-build delivery process; as owner’s representative and as design-builder. With his unique experience and insight, combined with his education and training as an engineer, Mark assures project success within project constraints consistently.
Today Mark leads DSI's QC for Professional Services. He provides executive leadership on all projects while continually developing DSI staff and resources.
Sheila brings 20 years of experience in the establishment and execution of ‘documents management’ best practices. Her specific training and certification in SharePoint software assures vital communication and document control for and with our clients.
Sheila has developed systems to handle payment applications and tracking, substantiation tracking, general contract administration, document transfer, and other client interface tools.
As lead for accounting and communication, Shelia supports team members (both DSI and the client) by coordinated setup and administration of SharePoint- a Microsoft server based software product.
Jason has more than 11 years of experience in construction management and design-build implementation. Prior to joining DSI, Jason directed field operations including construction quality assurance, scheduling, safety programs and procedures, project management, and customer/client relations.
Jason has been involved in the design, construction, and design-build acquisition of over 2 million square feet of office, residential, commercial, and light industrial projects. His career in the Design/Construction industry began in the ‘field’, and for the last 5 years, Jason has developed a complete set of Project Management skills to guide DSI's Acquisition Management.
